Just like the nursery rhyme—but hotter. peppers to pickle

We’ve been growing two pots of peppers from the farmer’s market for the last two weeks, so we’re obviously long overdue for harvest. Ornamental, schmornamental: They don’t deserve such an epithet.

We use Michael Symon’s pickled pepper recipe, as recounted by Michael Ruhlman, because it rocks, and W.’s addition this time of elephant garlic is going to rock even more.

Pickles are fast becoming a larger portion of our diets, so I hope they have some nutrients.
